The beautiful Handkerchief tree (Davidia involucrata) is located centrally in Abbey Gardens, the perfect place to show off such a wonderful tree. The Handkerchief tree is said to be the most romantic tree in China with its oval almost heart-shaped leaves and magnificent white flowers in the summer.
