Walnut tree

The last tree on this walk is the Walnut tree (Juglans regia). The Walnut tree was first introduced by the Romans who, like much of our native wildlife, valued its nuts. I wonder if this one dates back to Roman times… Continue to the cathedral and turn left under the arch, follow this path back to the cathedral doors.
